Energy Conversion Mechanism and Parametric Analysis of Free Piston Engine Generator

Abstract— The simulation model for free piston engine generator was set up in Matlab/Simulink and the working process simulation was conducted. According to the dynamic characteristic of the system, the energy conversion process was simplified in different stages of one stroke. On that basis, the effects of design parameters on the energy conversion process and operating state were analyzed.
